In the current information age, since the breakthrough of the new media, the focus of the changing world of work is no longer the what, but the how. Because with the digital revolution, access to knowledge was made available to us ad hoc via the Internet, so that everyone can acquire knowledge directly from anywhere and at any time if necessary. The main component of the new knowledge society is not what we learn and what information we collect, but how we deal with it. The accumulation of facts, as it was still part of the status in the industrial age and was useful as a professional reference for a career, is therefore of little value.

Our competencies are always based on the supply and demand principle. And with the digitization of almost all areas of life, the offer has become variable. This means that we have to learn not to rest on our accumulated knowledge.
