The German government is therefore trying to manage the onslaught of school-age Ukrainian children and has ordered their immediate integration.

The teachers’ association is preparing for up to 250,000 school-age children from Ukraine. The refugee movements meet an overloaded system. By mid-May, around 114,000 Ukrainian children had been admitted to all school classes in Germany.

From the point of view of the Conference of Ministers of Education (KMK), however, Germany must prepare for up to 400,000
