From analog to digital in the shortest possible time.

In the past few years before the pandemic, digital progress has been bobbing around. Digital innovations were slow to emerge. The forms of digitalization were more wishful thinking than fact, especially in companies, authorities and schools. Such a long time passed that in 2020 every official slip still had to be sent in paper form or handed over personally. That companies only allowed home office or virtual conferences in a few sectors that allowed children and adults to be educated only with personal presence in schools and educational centers. Homeschooling, e.g. in Germany, was and is still strictly prohibited.

But ever since the coronavirus pandemic is up to mischief, it is suddenly possible after all to do home office, virtual conferences and even homeschooling. With a few modifications and organizational moves, it was possible to do it ad hoc and within a few days, which for years was negated with hesitant hands and critical looks. Why has politics failed so much to promote the digital upturn? What fears prevented them from digitally updating the global business world? In the digital here and now, the pandemic shows the advantages that the rapid conversion and mental overcoming bring to the digital age.
